Autonomous swarms
Resilient navigation

Consortium

The SWARMER consortium brings together nine partners from seven EU Member States, combining complementary expertise across defence and security, aerospace, research and technology, and innovative SME capabilities.

Coordinated by IKNOWHOW SA (Greece), the partnership includes a balanced mix of research and technology organisations, industrial actors and specialised technology developers, enabling a multidisciplinary approach to complex autonomy challenges.

By pooling capabilities in multi-sensor integration, intelligent data fusion, autonomous navigation and cooperative swarm behaviour, the consortium is well positioned to develop robust solutions for drone swarm operations in GNSS-denied and contested environments. The diversity of perspectives—from advanced research and engineering to operationally oriented integration and outreach—supports strong collaboration, effective dissemination and impact across European defence and security stakeholders.
